The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Macon Mall parking lot, located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway, in reference to a death investigation. The Sheriff’s Office was contacted at 8:11 a.m.
It was reported that a 34-year-old male was found deceased by a person who was walking in the parking lot. The bystander discovered that the person was unresponsive and notified the Macon-Bibb 911 Center.
The Bibb County Coroner pronounced the individual deceased on the scene. The next of kin has not been notified.
This incident is under investigation. There are no signs of foul play. The deceased will be sent to the GBI Crime lab so that an autopsy can be conducted.
