The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial unarmed robbery that occurred just after 1:40pm at the CGR Credit Union; located inside the Navicent Health Center, at 770 Pine Street. It was reported that a black male entered the lobby of the credit union and advised the teller that he needed to make a deposit. When the teller told him he needed to complete a deposit slip to complete his transaction, the suspect then retrieved a note from an envelope in which he was carrying which was a note demanding money. The bank teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then turned and left the bank on foot running east on Cotton Avenue towards Poplar Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium complexion with stubble/scruffy facial hair, and appeared to be in his late 40s to early 50s in age. He is approximately 6 feet in height and weighs 175 to 180 pounds. He was described as wearing a dark in color cap, a white in color Atlanta Falcons t-shirt, dark colored long pants, and blue and silver sneakers. A picture of the suspect from the banks video surveillance footage is attached to the release.
