The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Commercial Strong Arm Robbery that took place at the John Smeal Jewelers that is located inside of the Macon Mall at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway. The incident took place on Friday, September 2, 2022. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 4:53 p.m.
It was reported that a masked male individual entered the business and asked to see a pair of earrings. The male grabbed the female clerks arm and snatched the earrings away from her. The male fled the business in foot. The clerk was not injured.
The male was last seen wearing a maroon hat, dark colored mask, a light colored jacket, gray sweat pants, and black & white shoes.
