The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place at the Subway, located at 4450 Forsyth Road. The incident took place at around 6:49p.m.
It was reported that a male entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect reached into his pocket and grabbed what the clerk believed to be a weapon. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, possibly in his 30’s. The male suspect had a beard and was approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height. He was last seen wearing a navy blue colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray colored shoes. * Please see attached photo from the incident.
