The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place on June 6, 2024, at 7:48 p.m., at Family Dollar, located at 4925 Bloomfield Road.
It was reported that a masked male subject entered Family Dollar and brandished a firearm, demanding money from the store clerk and patrons. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot west near Chambers Road. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as a slender black male with a height between five foot seven and six feet, weighing one hundred twenty to one hundred sixty pounds. The suspect wore a mask and black clothing.
The incident is currently under investigation.
