The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place on September 27, 2023, just before 1:30 p.m., at Family Dollar, located at 3567 Houston Avenue.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Family Dollar to investigate. It was reported that a male suspect entered the store brandishing a firearm. Money was demanded from the store clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot. No one was harmed during this incident.
The suspect was described as a middle-aged black male approximately five feet ten in height with a heavy build. He was wearing a black partial face mask, a black two-tone heavy coat, black pants, and black sneakers.
