The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place just before 03:00 a.m. at the BP Store, located at 4977 Mount Pleasant Church Road.
It was reported that two male subjects entered the store wearing all black, brandishing firearms, and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise they fled the store fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
