The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 9:17 p.m. Thursday night. The robbery occurred at the Family Dollar located at 3567 Houston Avenue.
It was reported that an individual entered the store demanding money and brandishing a handgun. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect then ran out of the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.
The individual is described as a slender black male wearing all black with a mask. More information will be released as it becomes available.
