Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies and investigators arrest a Macon man involved in a Commercial Burglary crime spree that occurred between April 25, 2021, through May 9, 2021.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office property investigators identified the suspect as 17-year-old Davonte Trevon Finney, of Macon. He is charged with burglarizing the Macon Gun & Pawn, the Old South Pawn, Marathon Gas Station, the CVS Pharmacy, and the Goo Goo Car Wash. Finney would enter the businesses, using different items to pry the doors open, or he would smash the glass out of the doors, as he made entry. Different items were taken from each of the businesses.
Once investigators identified Finney as the suspect, warrants were issued for his arrest. Finney was located at a residence in the 3900 block of Spencer Circle on Monday, by members of the Sheriff’s Response Team and Bibb Sheriff’s Office property investigators. He was taken into custody, without incident.
Trevon Finney was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center where he is being held, without bond, for the charges of five counts of Burglary-Felony.
