Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a report of a burglar alarm at the CVS Pharmacy at around 3:30 Thursday morning. While checking the business, a separate alarm call was called into the 911 Center. The second alarm was coming from the Bloomfield Grocery, located across the street from the CVS Pharmacy.  Deputies found that the business was secure and immediately responded to the second alarm call.

When the deputies arrived at the Bloomfield Grocery, they found that the old drive through window had been busted out. According to deputies, it appeared that the suspect reached through the busted out window and grabbed several packs of t-shirts from a shelf, located near the window.

A Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy who was in the area, noticed a suspicious person at the Macon Convenient Store. This store is located on Bloomfield Road, a few blocks from where the first two incidents took place. The deputy found a shirtless male suspect, carrying a backpack. The suspicious man was attempting to hide a crowbar with his arm as the deputy approached. Upon further investigation the suspicious man was placed under arrest. Several unopened packages of t-shirts, matching the shirts that were believed to be taken from the Bloomfield Grocery Store, were found in the suspect’s back pack.

Investigators believe that the suspect may be connected with several recent commercial burglaries.

Andre Migel Diadell Jr., age 22 from Macon, was arrested and charged with (3cts) of Burglary and (1 cts) of Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary. Diadell is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.

Anyone with information in reference to these incidents is urged to contact the Bibb County Law Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to speak to the “on-call” Property Investigator.
