The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Burglary that took place at the Dollar General, located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road.
The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m., Wednesday morning. According to the store’s security camera footage, a male approached the front of the store and smashed the front glass window to make entry into the business. The suspect attempted to take cigarettes, but was unsuccessful. When the suspect couldn’t get the cigarettes he grabbed cell phone accessories from a store display and then fled the scene. The accessories taken from the store were recovered behind the location, but the suspect had fled the area.
The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing with his face covered. A picture of suspect is attached.
