The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday, at the Welcome Gas Station on Houston Road.
It was reported that two male subjects entered the store brandishing firearms. They both demanded money from the store clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash both men fled the store on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
The first suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie with a white mask and appears to be a black male. The second suspect is described as wearing a plaid jacket with a full hooded mask. He is described as a lighter complexion male and could possibly be, a white male.
