The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 8:01 a.m. at the Family Dollar, located at 3656 Jeffersonville Road.
It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of money he fled the store fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as medium build, wearing a gray and black hoodie and black jeans with rips in them, with a mask covering his face. Pictures of the suspect are attached to this release.
