The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 8:38 a.m. at the Family Dollar, located at 800 Pio Nono Avenue.
It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money he fled the store fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as being in his late teens, or early twenties, wearing a black hoodie and white jeans with rips in them, with a mask covering his face. A picture of the suspect is attached to the release.
