The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 10:16 a.m. at the Family Dollar, located at 3600 Napier Avenue.
It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash he fled the store fled in a silver looking van. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as medium build, between four-foot eleven-inches and five-foot two-inches tall, wearing a white shirt and blue shorts, a mask covering his face.
