The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place just after 9:40 a.m. at the Family Dollar, located at 3002 Shurling Drive.
It was reported that two male subjects entered the store. They demanded money from the clerk while acting as if they had firearms. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, they fled the store on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
