The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place just after 6:40 a.m. at the BP Gas Station, located at 4977 Mt. Pleasant Church Road.
It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash he fled the store on foot. The clerk was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
The suspect was completely covered in dark clothes with a mask. Pictures of the suspect are attached to this media release.
