The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery of the Dollar General, located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road. The incident occurred at 8:29 p.m.
According to witness statements, a male individual entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the cash register. Once the individual received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store and was last seen running towards Chestney Road. No one was injured during this incident.
The individual is described as a white male. He was last seen wearing a black and gray hooded jacket, camouflage pants and wore a black mask covering his face.
