The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Chevron gas station, located at 584 Emery Highway. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 2:05 a.m.
It was reported that two males entered the store. One of the males brandished a long rifle and demanded money from the cash registers. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the males fled the store. The males were last seen running towards Woolfolk Street. No one was injured during this incident.
Both males were last seen wearing dark clothing and masks. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
