The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the McDonalds located at 550 Gray Highway. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center on April 18, 2022 at around 10:30 p.m. Monday night.
It was reported that an individual entered the restaurant and brandished a weapon demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, the individual fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported.
The individual is described as a male wearing a black hoodie with black pants and purple face mask. More information will be released once its available.
