The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Valero gas station, located at 4737 Houston Rd / US 41, just in front of the Magnolia Court Motel.
The incident took place at around 12:36 a.m. It was reported that two males approached the gas station. One of the males stayed outside, the second male went into the gas station and brandished a handgun. The second male demanded money from the cash registers. Once he received an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled the store on foot. Both males were last seen running towards Houston Avenue. No one was injured during this incident. Both men were described as black males, wearing all black clothing.
