The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Triangle Food & Gas, located at 2112 Millerfield Road. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 9:18 p.m.
It was reported that a male individual brandishing a firearm entered the store, as it was closing. He demanded money from the register. Once the male received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
The individual was described as a black male. He was wearing all black clothing, and had a gray colored shirt covering his head and face. A photograph of the individual is attached to this media release.
