The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Circle K gas station, located at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue. The incident occurred at 5:17 a.m.
Witnesses stated three males entered the store and pretended to shop. Two of the males distracted a clerk, working in the store front area, while the third male brandished a handgun and confronted the clerk, working behind the cashier counter. The three males demanded money from the cash registers and grabbed several tobacco products from the shelves. Once they received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the store, got into a vehicle and headed towards Dewey Street. A description of the vehicle is not available at this time. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
The first individual is described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a black “The North Face” jacket, over a red hooded shirt. He also had on blue jeans, black shoes, and a black facial covering. He was carrying a silver and black handgun.
The second individual is described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and a black facial covering.
The third individual is described as a black male. He was wearing a green hooded coat with fur around the hood. He had on black pants, blue shoes and a black facial covering.
