The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place Friday night just after 9:30PM at Suds Express Carwash, located at 3479 Mercer University Drive. It was reported that three black males entered the business with red bandanas over their faces. All three suspects were armed with handguns. Two employees were in the store at the time of the robbery. One of the employees was forced to open the businesses safe while the other employee was held down by the suspects.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the business, the suspects fled on foot towards an adjacent business, behind the car wash. No one was injured during the incident. No further information is available on the suspects at this time.
