The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Aldi grocery store, located at 4501 Log Cabin Drive, in west Macon. The incident occurred at around 3:00p.m. Monday afternoon.
It was reported that a man walked into the business, wearing a white in color, “Jason” styled mask, looking like the mask from the movie, “Friday the 13th”. The suspect brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as a dark skinned black male. He had a dreadlock hairstyle. The suspect was wearing a, green in color, hooded jacket. He had on faded or possibly stoned washed blue jeans. The front pockets and back pockets of the jeans were faded a lot more than the rest of the jeans.
