The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place around 4:57a.m. Friday morning, at the Waffle House located at 6230 Zebulon Road. It was reported that a masked suspect entered the restaurant with bags covering his hands. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash he fled the restaurant and ran in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black clothing. His face was covered and he wore plastic bags over his hands.
