The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Flash Foods that is located at 5602 Thomaston Rd. The incident took place at around 3:35a.m. Friday morning. It was reported that a masked gunman entered the store and demanded cash, cigarettes, and beer. Once the suspect received the items demanded, he fled the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male. He was wearing a mask over his face and he had on a t-shirt over his head. He also had on a dark jacket or coat and red pants. The suspect brandished a black handgun during this incident.
