The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that occurred at the Waffle House, located at 4285 Pio Nono Ave. It was reported that at around 2:27a.m., an armed suspect entered the Waffle House and demanded money from the cash register. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled towards a neighboring hotel. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described a black male, wearing a black bandana over his face and a tan colored, “fishing style” hat on his head. He was also wearing a black long sleeved shirt, black sweat pants, white gloves and white tennis shoes. The suspect’s handgun was described as a long barrel revolver with wooden hand grips.
