The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place just before 3:00 a.m. this morning at the Quick Serve, located at 1106 Rocky Creek Rd. It was reported that two black males came into the store, one wearing a long brown trench coat armed with a shotgun and another wearing a red sweater blue jeans and red Adidas tennis shoes armed with a rifle. Both suspects were wearing mask.

The suspect with the trench coat demanded that the store clerk open the door and give them the money. The suspect in the red sweater stayed by the front door of the business. One suspect demanded money from a customer in the store.When the customer stated they did not have any money the suspect in the trench coat fired one shot into the glass of the booth the store clerk was behind.  The second suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction once the shot was fired.

The suspect in the trench coat then jumped over the counter and took money from the store. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the suspect attempted to leave the store but was locked in by the store employee. The suspect then damaged the door and was able to get out leaving behind his shotgun and money taken during the robbery. He left on foot in a unknown direction. The store clerk received a cut on the face from fragments of the glass. He was checked out my paramedics and released. No one else was injured during this incident.
