The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at 9:00 P.M. this evening at the Family Dollar, located at 2123 Pio Nono Ave. It was reported that the suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun, and demanded money from the register. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the suspect left on foot headed north towards Stephens St. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’08”, around 180lbs, wearing a black shirt with black jeans and tennis-shoes, with a grey shirt covering his face.
