The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Yellow Cab Office, located at 4670 Broadway. It was reported that at around 1:24a.m., a masked suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded that the office worker open the front door. When the office worker refused, the suspect kicked the door, busting the plexiglass out of the door. The office worker received a minor cut from the busted plexiglass. The suspect demanded money from the office worker. She stated that there was no money in the office. The suspect grabbed the office worker’s purse and fled the scene. The office worker was seen by paramedics for the minor cut that she received.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black pair of shorts, and was also wearing a ski mask over his face.
