The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the “Subway” restaurant, located at 4108 Pionono Avenue. The incident occurred at around 8:40 p.m.
It was reported that a Subway employee was in the back storeroom when an armed suspect entered the restaurant. The employee walked back towards the front of the restaurant and noticed an armed suspect standing near the counter. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is a male, wearing a white t-shirt and light-colored jeans. He also had a black facial covering on his face.
