The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place tonight at around 8:00 p.m. at CC Wings and Fish Seafood Market located at 3011 Houston Avenue. It was reported that the black male suspect entered the business, brandishing a stainless steel handgun and ordered everyone inside on the floor. As one customer was attempting to get on the floor, the suspect struck the customer on the head with the gun. The suspect approached the employee at the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen running out of the business towards St. James Avenue.
The suspect was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black shoes with white soles and white shoe strings. He also had what appeared to be a lime green and gray glove on one hand and a gray glove on the other hand. No height or weight is available at this time. The customer that was struck on the head was treated at the scene for the injury.
