The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just before 9:00PM Saturday night at the Family Dollar Store, located at 3656 Jeffersonville Road.
It was reported that a male, race unknown, entered the store armed with a handgun, wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The suspect approached the counter and demanded money from one of the store’s employees. The employee ran to the rear of the store. The suspect grabbed the cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store. No one was injured during the robbery.
