The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday night around 11:23 p.m. at the Waffle House located at 3620 Riverside Dr. It was reported that the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a handgun . The suspect pointed the gun at one of the employees and demanded the money from the register. After taking the money, the suspect fled the restaurant in a gold Toyota Camry towards Tom Hill Blvd . The suspect was described as a black male wearing all black and a blue bandanna on his face.
No one was injured during the incident.
