The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar, located at 3656 Jeffersonville Road. It was reported that just before 7:45a.m., a male suspect ran up to the store employee brandishing a handgun. The suspect demanded the deposit bag from the store employee as the employee was leaving the store to make the morning deposit. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10, slender build. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask and dark colored clothing.
