The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar, located at 3567 Houston Ave. It was reported that just after 9:30 p.m., two male suspects entered the store. One male approached the store employees brandishing a shotgun. The second male went through the store checking for other people in the store. The armed suspect demanded cash from the store’s clerks. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot.
Both suspects are described as black males,approximately 5’6″ in height and slender build. One suspect was wearing a black ski mask, gray jacket. dark colored pants and shoes. The second suspect was wearing dark colored pants, dark colored jacket with hoodie and dark shoes with a purple scarf covering his face.
No one was injured during this incident.
