The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Dollar General, located at 3716 Houston Avenue. It was reported that at around 9:09p.m., an armed suspect entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black male. He is approximately 6 feet in height and has a slender build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.
