The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Subway located at 3001 Vineville Avenue just before 10:30 a.m. Friday morning. It was reported that a black male entered the business and went behind the counter to where the employee was standing. The suspect pointed a handgun at the employee and told her to give him the money. She gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the store. The suspect turned and fled on foot behind the store.
The suspect was described as a slender black male wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. He was also carrying a book bag. No one was injured during the incident.
