The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Friday morning just after 2:00 a.m. at the Shell Convenience Store located at 6440 Houston Road. It was reported that the suspect, a black male, came into the store, approached the clerk and pointed a gun at her demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the store’s register. The suspect fled the store on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as young and dark-skinned. He was approximately 5’7” to 5’8” in height. He was wearing black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, white shoes, a blue ball cap and a black bandana covering his mouth. A picture from the stores video camera is attached.
