The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of the Metro PCS at 844 Pio Nono Avenue that occurred just after 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
It was reported that a male entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the employees. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a camouflage jacket, brown pants, and black and white tennis shoes, with his face covered. The suspect was also carrying a black and red bookbag. A photo of the suspect from the store surveillance system is attached to this release.
