The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred Sunday night just before 9:00 p.m. at the Flash Foods located at 997 Gray Highway. The suspect, described as a black male, entered the store, picked up a pack of gum and walked to the counter. As the clerk was ringing up the gum, the suspect pulled a handgun and jumped over the counter. He demanded the clerk open the register. When the register was opened, the suspect grabbed the money out of the register and ran out of the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and black shorts. He was described as being 19 to 24 years old, 5’10”to 6’0” in height and weighing around 150 pounds.
