The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday night at around 10:00 p.m. at the Family Dollar Store located at 3002 Shurling Drive. It was reported that the suspect entered the business through the front door. The suspect went to one of the clerks, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers. After taking the money, the suspect fled on foot. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as being a dark skin black male. He was tall with a slender build and short hair. He was wearing a mask over his face and flip flop type shoes with socks and dark clothing. A picture of the suspect is attached to the release.
