The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just after 3:30 AM Tuesday morning at the Quick Serve Convenience Store, located at 1105 Gray Highway.
It was reported that a black male, wearing a camouflage jacket and pants, and a blue mask on his face entered the store with a gun and forced one of the employees to the back of the store, where he made the employee lie on the floor. The other employee was behind the front counter. The suspect pointed the gun at the employee at the counter demanding money. The employee gave the suspect the drawer from the cash register. The suspect then made the employee walk to the back of the store where the first employee was laying on the floor and forced him to lay down next to that employee. The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.
During the incident it was reported that the suspect fired 2 shots inside the store, but no one was struck. One employee did have a minor cut on the arm they somehow sustained from a box cutter during the incident.
