The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just before 12:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the AK Express, located at 1091 Clinton Road. It was reported that two males entered the store one male armed with a handgun and the other a long stick. The male with the handgun approached the counter and demanded money from the store clerk.  He received an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. After receiving the cash both suspects fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured during the incident.

The first black male suspect was described as being around 5 feet 5” to 5 feet 10 inches in height with a medium build, dark complexion. He was wearing a short sleeve blue t-shirt, dark pants, dark shoes with a white bandana tied around his face.

The second black male suspect was described as dark complexion. He was wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt, dark pants, and white shoes with a white shirt over his face with a blue backpack.
