Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call in reference to a commercial armed robbery at the Dunkin Donuts located at 121 Tom Hill Senior Boulevard just before 5:00 a.m. Friday morning.

It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the rear door of the business as one of the employees was coming in to work. There was one other employee in the store and the business was not open at the time. The suspect demanded the money from the cash registers. The suspect did fire one shot inside the business but no one was struck or injured. After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the store, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as wearing a gray sweatshirt, a gray t-shirt over his head, dark colored pants and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a handgun. A photograph of the suspect from the businesses video surveillance system is attached.
