The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Dollar General store at 4944 Mt Pleasant Church Rd. The incident occurred just before 10:00 pm Thursday night. It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male, entered the store and demanded money from the clerks. The suspect was brandishing a hand gun. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as being around six feet tall, skinny build, wearing a dark clothes with a mask covering his face.
