The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Monday evening at around 4:19 p.m. at the Dollar General Store located at 3051 Hartley Bridge Road. It was reported that the suspect, a black male, entered the store displaying a handgun. The suspect demanded the money from the store’s cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store and fled the store on foot heading toward Rutland Place. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, wearing all black clothing, with a black shirt concealing his face.
