The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at the Cricket Wireless Store located at 1683 Shurling Drive Monday morning just before 11:30 a.m. It was reported that the male suspect entered the store and went behind the register. An employee in the store saw the suspect with a handgun and ran out of the front door. The suspect also ran out of the front door and fled the scene. No money was taken during the incident and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a slender, young black male. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark colored sweatpants and black tennis shoes. He was also carrying a book bag.
