The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just before 4:30 a.m. Monday morning at the P.K. Food Store located at 2420 Pionono Avenue. It was reported that two black males entered the store carrying handguns and wearing ski masks. Just before the two males entered the store another man entered the store to tell the employee that he saw the two men walking towards the store wearing masks. When the masked men entered the store, one of the males pointed a pistol at the man that entered the store to warn the employee and ordered him to get on the ground. The other suspect pointed the pistol at the employee and jumped over the counter and ordered the employee to open the cash register drawer. After grabbing the money out of the cash drawer, the suspect grabbed a black bag which also contained money. The two suspects fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

Both suspects were described as being 5’7” to 5’10” in height and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. Both suspects were reported to be wearing all dark clothing. No further information is available at this time.
